Naval Academy freshman dies
Annapolis - A Naval Academy freshman was found by her roommates unconscious and not breathing in her bed late yesterday morning, Naval Academy officials said.
Academy emergency personnel took the woman to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 12:46 p.m. The case is under review, according to academy officials, but foul play is not suspected. "The Naval Academy is deeply saddened by this sudden and tragic loss," academy Superintendent Vice Adm. Jeffrey L. Fowler said in a prepared statement.
