The crew of the Miss GEICO offshore racing boat made history this morning, speeding from Annapolis to Baltimore in just 10 minutes, 31 seconds.

The Miss GEICO passes Gibson Island and the Baltimore Lighthouse on her run of 10 minutes, 31 seconds from Annapolis to Baltimore."It was a good, safe run," said Marc Granet, who piloted the boat. "I just want more. The first thing I said was that we can do it in eight minutes." Reaching speeds of 185 mph and averaging 160, today's time broke the record the team set last year of 14 minutes, seven seconds.
