You cant believe everything you read in the papers. Everyone always blames the title companies for things taking so long but in fact it is the Lenders that hold up almost everything. And interest isnt put into any of "her" accounts. Its paid from "her" accounts for you! There were no cooking of the books and when the truth finally comes out and you all drop your jaw with shock to see the true story then you can choke on your own words.

Well, well, well... - 2008-05-30 21:37:37

We used this company last year and they failed to payoff our two mortgages for more than three weeks. All the time racking up additional interest fees and late fees that Day Title would do nothing about since they could not account for where the payoff checks were. I'm sure she didn't mind that extra interest in HER account. Go figure that she was allegedly cooking the books in more than one way. Criminal charges should be filed if warranted and possibly even a lawsuit. Guess the mortgage meltdown hurt her "profits." I truly feel sorry for the employees whose jobs may now be in jeopardy.
