County police began aggressively investigating the theft of the Alliance Fuel Co. tanker at just after 6 a.m. when it was discovered missing from Armstrong Air Heating and Cooling at 3915 Mountain Road, said Lt. Jeffrey Silverman, a county police spokesman.
The vehicle, which contained 1,883 gallons of heating oil, was last seen at the site at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
