A woman suffered life-threatening injuries from a blow to her head last night when the personal watercraft she was riding was hit by a powerboat on Stony Creek near Riviera Beach.
She was struck at dusk, just after 8 p.m., said Division Chief Michael Cox, a county Fire Department spokesman. The woman is 45 years old, he said.
