Just two years ago, the Crownsville man jumped on a BMW motorcycle he had just rebuilt and took a cross-country trip to visit a friend in Idaho. How tragic. - 2008-06-19 15:32:32
I am a close personal friend of Mike as well as his supervisor. I knew his parents pretty well also. The news of this event was shocking to say the least. All the family are truly wonderful people. Mike is very close to his parents so this loss must be devasting to both him and his mother. Mike really is a top notch employee as described by others in the story. He is one of those rare people who is meticulous about almost everything he does and he has a depth of knowledge that is almost irreplacable. His father Jerry was a low-key, personable kind of man whom I enjoyed talking to on many occasions as I shared with him a number of interests. He will be missed greatly by many.
