Two injured in Route 50 crash Annapolis - Two men were seriously injured in a crash on Route 50 this morning that halted rush-hour traffic in both directions for more than 30 minutes, Maryland State Police and county Fire Department officials said. The men were traveling east near Rowe Boulevard just outside of city limits just after 7 a.m. when they crashed, police said. No other vehicles were involved. The roadway was closed in both directions for about 30 minutes while a helicopter landed to take the driver and one passenger to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, police said.
