ANNAPOLIS - Independence Day ended in a flight for life for one Annapolis area taxi driver and her passengers after her cab was shot at on Newtowne Drive early yesterday morning, police said.
City police say driver San-E Forrester was taking two passengers to a location on Newtowne Drive and upon passing a bus stop, Ms. Forrester heard what she believed to be firecrackers. The back window shattered and her passengers said someone was shooting at them.
She took her passengers to Captains Circle, where she dropped them off and then went to her mother's house on the same...
