Area hospitals focus on healthier food choicesPublished 07/10/08
Anne Arundel Medical Center's recent lunch menu called for a tofu salad with broccoli, along with gazpacho and hummus. The vegetable-heavy meal is part of the hospital's ongoing effort to make its cuisine more nutritious and environmentally friendly. AAMC is one of four hospitals in the state to join a national program aimed at improving the health of patients and staff by using organic food products.
