thanks - 2008-07-12 12:41:48

I must have missed it the day it was reported. My humble apologies. Probably distracted by the never ending stories of gunfire in Newtown. Thanks for the update, I'll pay closer attention.

That said, I have noticed stories about Annapolis in the Sun Paper and the Examiner that seem to escape the Capital. It's a bit like watching a wall of TV's and having each one tuned to a different station ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, C-SPAN, and the Comedy Network just to even the playing field. Each one reports stories in different ways depending on the editors and produces whims.

Police catch man reportedly trespassing in Annapolis

Police said they chased down a man who trespassed onto a boat after trying to eat a dead fish.

Savvas Andre Panteledes, 18, of Latchmere Court in Annapolis, was horseplaying with friends at the City Dock when he picked up a dead fish and bit into as part of joke, police said.

He then boarded an apparently vacant boat, ate some flowers on board and used a hose to drink some water, police said.

Police arrived, and Panteledes fled on foot, escaping officers who tried to wrangle him at a nearby elementary school, police said.

A canine unit found Panteledes in someone?s backyard, and he was arrested after another chase and a struggle with officers, police said.

Panteledes was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. ? Jason Flanagan

... why has this story not shown up in OUR local papers and yet is shows up in the Baltimore Examiner? Curious, isn't it?
