As a 16-year-old pleaded guilty yesterday to leading county police on a high-speed chase in a stolen van May 21, county prosecutors revealed details of how police handled the situation. Two officers entered the stolen minivan shortly before it was used in an extended police chase, but the officers didn't disable the vehicle or remove a loaded sawed-off shotgun from the back seat, prosecutors said during a hearing in county juvenile court in Annapolis for the juvenile driver of the van.
