GLEN BURNIE - A community recreation building was destroyed early yesterday morning in a two-alarm inferno, county fire officials said.
Firefighters were called to the building in the Country Club Estates on Leymar Road and Paul Marr Drive at 2:18 a.m., said Lt. Frank Fennell, a county Fire Department spokesman.
The fire was called in by a neighbor who saw flames.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire pouring from the roof and the rear of the building.
