Serial burglar sentenced to 10 yearsPublished 08/02/08
A burglar who committed six crimes in the Admiral Heights neighborhood was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Yesterday county Circuit Court Judge Paul A. Hackner sentenced Carlester Sellman, 50, to six 20-year sentences, one for each count of first-degree burglary to which Sellman pled guilty last month. The sentences will be served concurrently and ten years will be suspended. As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors had dropped five other charges of first-degree burglary. From April 2007 to March 2008, Sellman broke into homes in the Admiral Heights neighborhood and stole wallets and purses. Judge Hackner said...
