Leather clad, tattoo-bearing motorcyclists tend to get a bad rap. But when given a chance to band together for a good cause, their hearts can roar louder than straight pipes on a Harley.

Hundreds of motorcycles filled the parking lot at Bamboo Bernie’s yesterday during the event, which raised $27,000 to benefit the Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp in Harrisonburg, Va., where young burn victims from Anne Arundel and throughout the region meet each August.More than 850 motorcyclists met at Cancun Cantina in Hanover for a three-stop charitable trip across the bay yesterday, riding in packs along Route 50 to Red Eye's Dock Bar in Grasonville and ending at Bamboo Bernie's off Ritchie Highway in Pasadena.
