Four teens charged in bat attack

Odenton - County police arrested four teenagers last night after a man was beaten with a baseball bat during an attempted robbery in Odenton.

Police were called to the 1200 block of Stehlik Drive for a reported fight in progress just after 11 p.m.

There they found a victim who reported he had been assaulted by a group of about five people after they had demanded money from him.

He told them he had no money, police said. At that point he said the group attacked him, with one of the assailants wielding a baseball bat.

The victim received minor injuries.
