County police said the structure held a bucket of marijuana, a toolbox with more of the leafy drug, digital scales, painkillers and $1,300 in cash.

And that was only part of what detectives found while serving a search warrant at a home in the 1700 block of Holladay Park Road early Tuesday morning.

Gun Control - 2008-11-12 21:56:36

Did anyone think that maybe the guns were registered and legal. Did they bother to tell you that the children were not home. Crimals dont use registered guns. Did the capital think of what this story was gonna do to the children or was she just worried about selling her news papers? People are innocent until proven guilty. There are always two sides to every story and the truth usually dont come from the paper.

Gun Control? - 2008-11-01 10:28:17

Rudolph do you know these men? Are they racists? I did not read anything to that effect in this story. As Jerry H said criminals don't care about gun control laws, only good, honest, hard working citizens like you and me! These guys were low-life drug dealers. At least the police got the guns out before one of the young kids got hurt. But i am sure when these men get out, they will purchase more guns and keep them in the exact same spot! What control law will stop that???

This is why we need strong gun control laws! Guns and racism are truly twin plagues on our town.

These white criminals have been apprehended, and a description is not needed for citizens to help police locate them. But, some reason, the Capital decides to publish their pictures. Seems a bit hypocritical.
