GRASONVILLE - The blistering 1st District race for Congress is too close to call, as Democratic Queen Anne's County State's Attorney Frank Kratovil leads Republican State Sen. Andy Harris by 916 votes, with plenty of absentee ballots remaining.

Mr. Kratovil topped Dr. Harris with 160,914 votes to 159,998 during a dramatic night of close returns. Libertarian candidate Richard Davis trails with 7,924 votes, according to unofficial results from the State Board of Elections.
