Timothy Lee Jones, 28, of Heritage Court, pleaded guilty yesterday to automobile manslaughter in connection with the Nov. 9, 2007, wreck that killed 22-year-old Delonte Marvin Brooks. He faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced Jan. 5. Deputy State's Attorney William Roessler said that shortly after the wreck Jones had a 0.25 blood-alcohol content, more than three times the legal limit of 0.08. VERY INTERESTING - November 8, 2008
So, the judge is sending a message that you can kill someone going four times the speed limit, can be high on marijuana and way over the limit of alcohol and then test positive six more times..for PCP,Cocaine, and marijuana all within a six week period and the judge doesn't send him to jail until his sentence. This criminal needs to be in jail until he is sentence and then he needs to get the maxium time allowed which seems to be 10 years.I wonder how the deceased family feels knowing that this monster is on house arrest and may not get the time he deserves. His attorney says that he feels guilty about what happened, why didn't he feel guilty before he got behind the wheel of that car.Makes you wonder huh!

I agree about this guy needing to do some jail time and drug counseling while there......but the subliminal "gay bash" was cute.

Let's see.... - November 6, 2008
Kills a man doing four times the speed limit high on dope and three times the legal limit. Then tests SIX more times positive for THREE more drugs in six weeks but the Judge won't jail him? If a judge with any sanity does send him to prison where he belongs this criminal will make plenty of 'friends' there I'm sure. Capital Gazette, can we get an update when this guy is sentenced?
