Second teen struck near Mountain RoadPublished 11/14/08
For the second time in 24 hours, a teenager was struck by a car and critically injured yesterday while walking near Mountain Road in Pasadena. In the latest accident, at least one passerby ran to the boy's aid and pulled him from under the vehicle before paramedics arrived at the scene, said Division Chief Michael Cox, a county Fire Department spokesman. The 15-year-old boy was walking on Edwin Raynor Boulevard at Mountain Road at 5:50 p.m. when he was struck.
