Second teen struck near Mountain Road

For the second time in 24 hours, a teenager was struck by a car and critically injured yesterday while walking near Mountain Road in Pasadena.

In the latest accident, at least one passerby ran to the boy's aid and pulled him from under the vehicle before paramedics arrived at the scene, said Division Chief Michael Cox, a county Fire Department spokesman.

The 15-year-old boy was walking on Edwin Raynor Boulevard at Mountain Road at 5:50 p.m. when he was struck. He was taken by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with life-threatening injuries, Chief Cox said. His condition was not available this...
