International plumbers union leaving D.C. for AnnapolisPublished 01/11/09
An international plumbers union is moving its headquarters to Annapolis in a $35 million deal that includes a portion of the Park Place development and an adjacent parcel currently home to a car dealership.

The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices will move 85 employees next month into a new office building it bought in July at Park Place on inner West Street for $29.7 million, said Patrick Perno, the union’s general secretary-treasurer, pictured above.
