The Annapolis Business Association will again launch a three-day March Madness sales event this month to help draw foot traffic at a time when the economy has caused many consumers to cut spending.

Association officials said the downtown event will feature sidewalk clearance sales as well as restaurant food and drink specials from March 27-29. The event is designed to coincide with the NCAA basketball tournament.
