The Davidsonville woman started the organization nearly five years ago to help new parents of premature babies in Anne Arundel Medical Center's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The nonprofit group, which is made up of Grim and 10 other board members, provides tote bags for the new parents, along with companionship and emergency financial assistance and supplies.

new mission - 2009-03-17 11:39:59

Need a new Mission ( albeit a temporary won--Hopefully)
A yuppy food bank!! Many very well attorneys and professionals have been laid off and the 300 or so dollars they receive form unemployment will soon lead them to foreclosure or hunger unless supplemental help can be provided.

I would suggest a food bank funded with money from the law firms and engineering firms etc.. that unexpectly and at time without notice released these professionals form their six figure careers.

I know many find it hard to sympathize or empathize with this situation and I write this without sarcasm. However, it is a real, devastating and urgent conditon.
