Martin O'Malley, urging him to stop killing the invasive swans. "You have the authority to call off the brutal killings and I really hope you will," Williams wrote in his letter,...

.Mute swans are beautiful birds but they don't belong in the Chesapeake bay and should be eradicated by what ever means that are necessary. The swans kill marsh grasses and are extremely aggressive towards native species and humans.I watched in horror one summer afternoon in south river as a swan repeatedly attacked a young man in a kayak. It was lucky for that young man we were going by in our 24'boat and chased the swan away.I wonder if montel would feel the same way if it was him in the kayak, celebrities should research the facts before taking unfounded positions with no facts to support them. All species that aren't native to the bay should be remove if possible.Mr McKnight keep up the good work that you doing for the people of Maryland

I think Montel and Oprah are both wrong. If I ruled the world I would kill every single Mute Swan I could find, fry them and give them away to the hungry mobs.
