Under the bright lights of Severna Park High School's stadium, a camera panned across a staged football game, coming to rest on a set of cheerleader's pompoms lying on the ground. Their owner was missing.

The clip is one of several that will appear in a two-minute public-service announcement created by a group of Severna Park residents to draw awareness to the county's - and the nation's - increasing problem with teen suicide.
