Annapolis officials are considering scaling back some of the parking fee increases just approved at four city-owned parking facilities, although some rates at the coveted Hillman garage downtown still could go up as much as 60 percent.
The City Council is mulling new proposals that would lessen increases at the parking facilities, but move the city toward complying with its own parking code.
The council approved higher rates for three of its garages and one parking lot in May as a way to raise $900,000 and help relieve parking problems downtown.
