Ryan Tomoff, 14, said he wasn't nervous when he stood up to share his story with a crowd of patients, doctors and business people who gathered Wednesday at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Ryan Tomoff, 14, hasn't let his multiple battles with cancer slow him down. Now after almost five years since his bone marrow transplant, he is serving as the regional ambassador for Hyundai's Hope on Wheels, a program that raises funds for cancer research.
"It's like learning about somebody else, and telling them what you've been through, and just saying it in a large group," he explained.
A recent graduate of Crofton Middle School and a soon-to-be freshman at Archbishop Spalding High School, Ryan has a lot to talk about.
