Crofton resident Christine Nairn's first international goal in the dying minutes last night gave the U.S. women a 1-0 victory and a three-game sweep of their friendly series. The 18-year-old Nairn, an Archbishop Spalding graduate who plays for Penn State, became the youngest U.S. player to score since Heather O'Reilly against Italy in 2002 at the age of 17. Nairn had replaced Carli Lloyd in the 81st minute.
