A local boys soccer team, featuring two of the county's top collegiate players, will head to the nationals in Massachusetts this weekend as the Region I champion of the U.S. Youth Soccer Academy.

Severna Park resident Michael Rose, who plays for Notre Dame, had one goal for the Baltimore Fays U19 team during regionals.
The Baltimore Bays under-19 team followed up their Maryland title this past spring with a regional victory earlier this month.
Bays coach Kevin Healey is confident about his team's trip to nationals.
