Laurie Sears Deppa is a small business owner who used to be in the Navy, two careers she said have prepared her for the city's highest elected office and that will drive her decisions and policies.

Small business owner Laurie Sears Deppa is running for mayor. She is one of seven Democrats, one Republican and one independent seeking the city's top elected position."We need to run this place more like a business for sure.
