Market House - 2009-08-08 11:19:44
I can remember when the market was a fish market. The oyster and fish boats would tie up at the dock and transfer their catch there. It was a very busy place but, one could find anything from oysters to bass to shrimp there. If memory serves, there was also a gas station next to the place which we would ride our bikes around and around for as long as we could to see who would get dizzy. The only air conditioning was the breeze that would blow in from one end and out the other. Miss the old hometown.
