The "governor" shouldn't use sophomoric extortion tactics to dodge his responsibilities by not assigning top priority to protecting Marylanders. Moreover, he should be aware that state budgetary difficulties stem to a large degree to the 2007 special session, and the draining of the 'rainy' day fund.
