Local couple featured on HGTV's 'House Hunters'

A local newlywed couple has had their 15 minutes of fame - or in their case, more like 20 minutes, not counting commercials.

Mike and Amy Harris will be featured on an upcoming episode of the HGTV show "House Hunters."

"It really was fascinating to see how they (film)," Amy Harris said. "I watch (reality TV shows) now in a different light. It's so much work."

She said she has watched the show for years, so when the couple decided to buy a house in the Annapolis area, it was natural to apply.
