Sources Say: That vacation money is in the mail, palPublished 10/23/09
County Councilman Jamie Benoit could have just paid his bill. End of story.
Surely, when Sonny Sage couldn't find the $213 check Benoit promised to leave on the counter of Sages' Hilton Head vacation villa, he didn't think it would come to this: Eleven weeks of badgering, threats to publicly expose Benoit's failure to pay for the extra day of vacation, and then having to follow through on that threat.
On Monday, Sage sent out a detailed accounting of Benoit's repeated promises - and failure - to put the check in the mail since Aug. 3. It went to The Capital, Benoit, and all the other members of the County Council....

Wow - injured on the way out of church while handing money over to a homeless man. A living saint in our midst.
The only thing missing from this story was that she also came under heavy fire from the enemy and needed to be hurriedly escorted to a secure hangar.
