Candy throwing - 2009-11-17 23:32:17
PLEASE, hand the Mids the candy, drop it off at the Academy, or pass it out in the stands during games, just stop throwing it on the street! Usually Taylor Ave. (between the stadium and the DNR building) is disgusting for days after games. Those wrappers don't evaporate - they go down the storm drains into our waterways.
As mentioned in the article, this week was much better, with a lot less trash left on the street, yet I still stepped in chocolate and wrappers on my way into work.
Doesn't littering carry a fine?
