Washington strolls city once again

Yes, fellow citizens, that tall man you saw last night promenading around State Circle in Annapolis while wearing a blue and buff lieutenant general's uniform and a sword was none other than George Washington.

The commanding officer of the Continental Army and first president of the United States was here to visit the town where, as a young man in the mid-1700s, he enjoyed all kinds of sporting events - and lost substantial sums at the horse races and gaming tables.

If he actually was able to again walk the streets of Annapolis and could truely voice his opinion ...
Would he be content or upset with how we turned out?
Would he be proud or ashamed of the City of Annapolis, the State of Maryland the United States of America as it is today?
