The state Board of Public Works approved about $362 million of general fund reductions and transfers to address a continuing deficit problem. A total of 112 state jobs were eliminated, with more than half of those filled, to make up $5.7 million of the total.
Since fiscal 2010 began on July 1, the board has taken more than $1 billion in budget-tightening actions.
