Nearly 3,000 small, white grave markers cut through the grass at the Annapolis National Cemetery at Westgate Circle on West Street, where military from the Civil War through the present are laid to rest.

Kristina Seidel, the location leader for the Wreaths Across America program at the Annapolis National Cemetery, pauses beside one of the nearly 3,000 grave markers in the cemetery. She is working to find sponsors for holiday wreaths for each grave before the Nov. 25 deadline.And Kristina Seidel of Davidsonville hopes to remember each of them this holiday season. She is looking for sponsors to purchase a wreath for every grave by Wednesday. "Any opportunity that you can honor your veterans is worthwhile," she said. "Christmas is just a time of joy and giving and thanksgiving. (A wreath) is a gift that you can give to your veterans." Seidel is the location leader...
