Three-year-old Jack Beasley of Annapolis reaches for hand sanitizer after sharing his Christmas wishes with Santa at Westfield Annapolis mall. Hand sanitizers have been placed in Santa's area at the mall to reduce the risk of spreading swine flu germs.The latest addition to Santa's bag is a direct result of H1N1, or swine flu. Throughout the year, health officials have advised the public about ways to prevent the spread of germs. But that can be challenging in large crowds that contain young children who have been hit especially hard by the illness this season.
