Annapolis Alderman and former mayoral candidate Sam Shropshire was convicted today of fondling a Naval Academy midshipman in May. 
Sam Shropshire
After a one-day trial, Circuit Court Judge Paul F. Harris Jr. found Shropshire guilty of both counts — second-degree assault and fourth-degree sex offense. Shropshire, D-Ward 7, will be sentenced in February.
