CENTREVILLE - The family of the truck driver who died last year in a fatal crash on the Bay Bridge amended their $7 million lawsuit against a teenager involved to include the state and the Maryland Transportation Authority.
Relatives of John Short, 57, claim that Candy Lynn Baldwin, 20, drank so much before the Aug. 10, 2008, wreck that she swerved into the tractor-trailer's path - forcing Short to smash through a bridge wall and fall to his death.
