DENVER - Denver airport officials say a contract worker died after falling into about 20 feet of water at the bottom of a 40-foot-deep pit at the airport's heating and cooling plant.
The man fell Saturday morning, and Denver Police Department divers recovered his body later in the day. His name hasn't been released.
Denver International Airport spokesman Jeff Green said the man was a paint inspector working for an outside company under contract with the airport.
