"I like to get people's attention," said the 18-year-old Carvo, who spins 6-foot-long signs that advertise area businesses at the corner of West Street and Route 2. "I like to make them laugh. I also like to make them cheer for me."
Carvo works for AArrow Advertising, a national firm that employs more than 500 between the ages of 16 and 24 to spin signs.
