"If you offer something in the way of a gift and sex ensues from that, is that the solicitation of prostitution?" Andrew Jay Graham asked the state's highest court earlier this month, arguing it is not.
But in the eyes of the state's Attorney Grievance Commission, Marcalus' decision to trade Vicodin for sex showed bad judgment - especially in light...

What can be done to these attorneys? I know a MD attorney who is married and is committing adultery with another married woman. This attorney has now been named as the boyfriend of the woman but he won't answer questions in a deposition re: the relationship. He claims attorney/client privilege and fifth amendment rights against incrimination. Can this loser be disbarred?

Disbar Marcalus - 2010-03-25 14:49:12
Marcalus is attorney that now has had brush with the law himself on many occasions in the past 5 years see link
http://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/inquiry/inquiryDetail.jis?caseId=02K06002104&loc=60&detailLoc=K
Marcalus has abused his standing as an attorney for personal gain and he has exploited female clients for his own benefit. Marcalus is the type of attorney that will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He is a disgrace to the legal community and every attorney that has ever taken The Oath and Law of Hippocrates. He has become the laughing stalk in the legal community. I question why he had vicodin to begin with and the circles he affiliates himself with. I hope he will recognize the damage he does to the image of the entire legal community and volunteer to leave the bar without the embarresment of a legal hearing. There are several woman that would likly testify during such hearing to Mr. Marculas's conduct in a attorney-client relationship setting. Do yourself a favor and leave now.

If that was the case ... - 2010-01-26 09:53:07
Bonnie:
If someone was on a mission to smear the name of this attorney, they would have also included in the article the case where Mr. Marcalus was charged with (and convicted) of a crime.

What's wrong with this picture? - 2010-01-26 00:41:26
Mr. Marcalus is my attorney and is the epitomy of a gentleman ,wonderful single parent and talented lawyer. He is a devoted Christian and it appears that someone or some people sre determined to ruin his reputation. It happens, I have seen it in our system before, the good ones seem to say to hell with it( practicing law) and we get stuck with the scum of the earth representing us.
Good Luck Jeff, but with your mentality and honestly you deserve better.
