About a dozen Democratic senators and delegates this week outlined a package of bills meant to restrict the ability of those businesses to spend in state elections.

The initiatives come after the Supreme Court's decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, which overturned a prohibition on corporations and unions using general treasury funds for political ads.

We the People & Corporations?? - 2010-01-30 01:48:02

A perfect example of how a large corporation, Sun Healthcare Group Inc aka SUNH, can spin out of control with it's power is in the case of my mother, Evelyn Calvert's death in 2004. The nursing home CEO, Richard K. Matros actually apologized through the manager of his Political Action Committee, Julie Campbell, for harm done to my mother by their known broken equipment while committed to a California state injunction not to have broken equipment again! I sued for her ultimate death and 3 yrs later the CEO threatened me I wasn't getting anything from him in mediation through my corrupt attorney. I'd had a major life threatening surgery and was still recovering, not understanding the law, I was coerced into signing my rights away to her death based on fraud charges only. He'd dropped wrongful death while I was distracted with a pancreatic cancer surgery months earlier. When I recovered 7 months later I sued this corrupt attorney for malpractice and he died 2 weeks later in his sleep at age 59. No kidding. Daniel Leipold. I won that case in 2008 against his estate! Sun's Medical Director testified in 2008 Sun killed my mother!

The Dept of Justice never, ever, punished Sun for violating the state injunction and killing five patients I knew of. Why? Political corruption.

I've created a blog site of my experience and asked the OC District Attorney and OC Grand Jury indict Richard K. Matros for various crimes.
