By all accounts, it's an unprecedented move for City Hall. But how many jobs will be cut, what city departments will be hit hardest, when the layoffs will occur, what services will be eliminated or reduced, and who will end up unemployed is far from clear, Cohen said.

After a wave of city reports, presentations and newspaper stories about the city's money troubles, Cohen and senior members of...

Yes my friends every the unions should offer as much resistance as possible to Cohen's heavy-handed attempts to balance the city's budget at the expense of the working men and women of these Great United States of America.

Cohen has shown no restraint in spending when it comes to the salaries of the administrative ranks-- he has increases salaries and even created new positions-- and certainly has not exhausted every other means possible before asking the rank and file to make ' "unprecedented employee concessions" '.
The Unions must exhaust every possible means they have at their disposal to protect the worker and make it very difficult for Cohen to take the easy way out. The economy and society at large will suffer if Cohen's plan to destroy the lives of Unionized city workers is not met with strong resistance.

Are you serious? This is about getting the city through a tough time not thinking of oneself. I really find it hard to believe you would even think that but then again seeing your other postings maybe i should. I see you really don't know what loyalty is.
