Officials also told the Board of Visitors in Annapolis yesterday that cyberwarfare could emerge as a stand-alone branch within the Navy in as little as a year. Currently, junior officers specializing in cyberwarfare typically serve as surface warfare intelligence officers.

In a major change in policy, the Navy recently announced plans to lift the ban on women serving on submarines, and Congress may give the go-ahead by late next month,...

RADML LH (sel) Matthew Klunder. - 2010-03-09 19:36:51

Matt Klunder has been the best 'Dant' the Academy has seen in decades. He put a new face on the Academy and has turned around the entire brigade. I have a son who is a Mid and we sponsor 8 others. I have never met a Mid who did not absolutely respect and admire RAMDL Klunder. I know he will be greatly missed. I wish him and his family the best. Welcome aboard Capt. Clark. We hope that you and your family enjoy your tour here. Also do not forget the Master Chief Banks is also leaving us. She is every thing a senior enlisted leader should be. I will miss her as well.
