Cobb helped his beloved down from the carriage, got down on one knee, and asked her to be his wife.

"I thought, 'Oh my God,' and I was trying not to cry," Leger said.

Mr. Cobb, I think your proposal was perfect. There are just some miserable people out there that can't be happy for anyone else because they don't know what it feels like to be happy.

"So Close"...... - 2010-03-22 18:02:49

Just a little proposal advice. Yes, you have it almost all right. Horses, Annapolis, friends, family. You were on the right track. And she did say yes, right?

But next time, tuck in your shirt and don't wear jeans. Other than that, well played.

First of all...congrats to both of you.
My husband and I also meet at what was called A&P back then in 1978. He worked in produce and I was a cashier. We've been together ever since.
