He got an eye exam, filled out the paperwork, signed it and sent it in. A few weeks later, his new card arrived in his mailbox. It's good through his birthdate in 2015.
That's one less thing to worry about until he turns 109.
On Thursday, Charlie celebrates his 104th birthday. Family members plan to take him to Denny's for a treat.
But, the Parole resident doesn't want to wait for his "big" birthday next year - he wants a Carvel ice cream cake this year.
"Yes, my lord! I want a cake!"...
