The council last night voted 4-3 against a scaled-down proposal to slow a scheduled increase to impact fees in 2011, after two of the plan's sponsors said they could no longer support it.

Whoo... Council got with the program, after years.....of (catering to development industry) delay. Economics 101 at AACO CC. no credits just audit should be mandatory. Charles Ferrar comment implies some don't pay there fair share, which is wrong. In fact we are/were subsidizing developers. Now if those over paid Council members could understand things like the General Development plan, which takes years to develop with citizen and planners input we might get comprehensive growth. Cathy Vitale's walking in to expand commercial district by the new Safeway an example of stupid. Blah Blah Blah the owner just wants... the owner inherited the land, got a variance from the general plan and its on the market. Good for you Cathy, but no chicken. Council needs to listen to their consituents, they're not the brightest bulbs on the tree.
