Alison Asti - 2010-07-05 01:59:53
Let's be clear about the circumstances surrounding Alison Asti's resignation from the Maryland Stadium Authority.
OMalley forced Alison Asti out of the Executive Directorship of the MSA. She had a valid contract with MSA. The Executive Directorship was not a patronage position.
Alison was promised a financial settlement if she resigned before her contract expired. After she resigned, she never received a red cent of the agreed upon settlement.
Thanks to O'Malley, the Executive Directorship of MSA is now a patronage position, contrary to the Association's bylaws. Furthermore, there are conflicts of business interests by some of O'Malley's newly appointed MSA board members.
